Remembering Pearl Harbor 2015

HI Carey AZ mem 2008-05-09 34.jpg
December 7th, 1941 a day that will live in infamy. This is the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii with the USS Missouri to the left. The Battleship Missouri was where the Japanese surrender was signed in Tokyo Bay in 1945. The small dory boat in the foreground is the Navy vessel that shuttles visitors out to the memorial over the sunken Battleship Arizona. She still lies where she sank during the attack on Pealr Harbor with the dead still entombed below.
If you come to Hawaii you have to visit this somber and historical site as it still effects the 7 billion people on the planet today and the global community we have become after the last world war.
